Mind
As you fly into Albuquerque and peer out the round oval of your window, you will see the Sandia Mountains swell out of the earth waves of an ancient sea. The Rio Grande winds its way through the historic city where adobe churches and quaint neighborhoods spring up like the chanterelle mushrooms after a mountain rain. You might start your stay at the Hotel Chaco known for its inspired ancestral design and attention to historic detail. Temperatures fall quickly at night in the desert so you might grab an extra layer as you head to the Level 5 rooftop bar. Offering gourmet cocktails, this chic terrace overlooks sparkling lights of the city and the sunset hues of the Sandia Mountain Range. Stay tuned for our next newsletter when we interview Hotel Chaco interior designer Kris Lajeskie.
In the morning, the city will look different as you whisk away on one of our E-Bike tours. Whether you are exploring the well maintained paths of the Bosque where the rivulets of the Rio Grande keep time with the passing clouds, or you pick up the tempo as you discover the cultural landmarks of Downtown, our friendly and knowledgeable guides will introduce you to the treasures of our culturally rich and progressive city.
