Chaco Season Opens March 6, 2021
Chaco Canyon is one of New Mexico’s most unique and amazing places. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and National Park in the San Juan Basin and was the center of a diverse thriving culture from 850 A.D. to 1250 A.D. It served as the heart of spiritual and ceremonial practices for the Chacoan people.

Experience this major ancestral Puebloan center of migration, grand construction, and cultural integration and see why Chaco is a fascinating place of mystery.
Day tours are offered every Saturday from March - November.

HI Stories - Travel Blog
Want to learn more about Chaco Canyon? Travel with us through our travel blog, HI Stories as our Albuquerque and Chaco Canyon Ambassador, Bobby Gonzales, guides you through a visceral journey that will spark your curiosity and inspire you to join us on a tour of this cultural phenomena of New Mexico.

Bobby explains, “I fell in love with Chaco Canyon on my first visit and knew immediately that I had to go back. And I did, I visited Chaco Canyon three times in three weeks. Now some years later the canyon has called to me 56 times. The canyon is my healer and when I need advice I go there to listen and to learn. I am a Chaco Canyon guide, but really I am guided by the canyon.
